Trade Disputes

Topic Description

Trade disputes refer to disputes connected with specific matters outlined in the law, including employment terms and working conditions, and facilities for trade union officials, together with negotiation or consultation procedures relating to such matters, amongst others. Where a trade dispute exists or is apprehended, the law provides for a specific procedure aimed at promoting conciliation before the matter is brought before a court of inquiry or the Industrial Tribunal.
