Legal Notice

  1. Registration: The number of places available for participants may be limited. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Registrations can be made until the day of the event or until the maximum number of participants has been reached.
  2. A certificate of attendance can be issued on request.
  3. The participant may pay either immediately by credit card or within 15 days of registration by means of a bank transfer. Participation will not be possible without prior payment. Handling fees may apply for special invoicing requests. Discounts and vouchers, if available, cannot be combined. Unless otherwise specified on the registration form, the registration fee includes lunch, beverages consumed during the event, the conference documents and attendance, and VAT. The participant must cover his/her own travel and accommodation expenses.
  4. Parking at venues are not guaranteed. Please enquire in advance.
  5. Please respect the rules and health and safety notices of the venue. Smoking is not permitted other than in designated areas. Attendees are not to undertake any activity that may be liable to bring us into disrepute or cause damages to others. We reserves the right at any time to exclude (without refund) from the event or venue any participant whose behaviour is, in our opinion or that of the venue, an unacceptable nuisance or annoyance.
  6. Recording of the event is not permitted without explicit authorisation.
  7. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event before the planned start, provided that we shall endeavour to give at least 2 weeks prior notice. In this case, registration fees received will be fully reimbursed. We will be not liable for any further damage caused by the cancellation.
  8. The mention of a speaker’s name does not commit us. In case an advertised speaker does not appear, we will do what we can, within reason, to find a replacement of the same calibre.
  9. If a participant notifies us of their cancellation at least one week before the event, they will be eligible for a full refund.
  10. Should individual provisions of these general terms and conditions be invalid, this shall have no effect on the validity of the remaining provisions.
  11. We cannot assume liability for incorrect information or other errors resulting from technical problems or other reasons beyond our control. We do not take responsibility for the content provided/delivered by external participants/speakers. Conferences are for information purposes and do not serve as legal advice. Our maximum liability is limited to the event booking fee.
  12. The contractual relationship between the parties shall be interpreted, construed and governed by the laws of Malta.
  13. As far as legally possible, both parties hereby submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Malta.
  14. Please inform us should you need any disability accommodation or have any special requirements (e.g. dietary). Although we will endeavour to meet any reasonable requests, we regret that we cannot promise that any request will be met unless we have specifically confirmed this in writing
