Health and Safety at the workplace, and the obligations imposed on both employer and worker was given priority in 2024 as Act XXXIII of 2024, the Health and Safety Act was published on August 9th, to regulate and improve workplace health and safety, emphasizing the protection and promotion of workers’ well-being.

Amongst others, a notable establishment was the introduction of the Health and Safety Tribunal.
