Employers must be confident that they are delivering equal pay for work of equal value!
Ask yourself these questions:
- Do we have gender neutral job structures?
- Do we really know which jobs actually compare as being of equal value?
- Are we sure that the comparison is not influenced by direct or hidden bias?
- Do we have proportionate pay bands?
- Are we sure that we do not over-rely on market rates?
- Are we prepared to have transparent communication with employees?
- Are we geared up to uphold reporting obligations?
